Prohibited & Restricted Items

This policy sets out what may not be listed or sold on dapxop (operated by dapxop Technologies (Private) Limited, registered in Pakistan). It forms part of, and must be read with, our Seller Agreement and Terms of Service. By listing on dapxop you confirm that your goods are genuine, legal to sell, and comply with all applicable Pakistani laws. Violations may result in the removal of listings, suspension or termination of your store, forfeiture of related payouts, and referral to the relevant authorities.
1. Counterfeit & Replica Goods — Strictly Prohibited
You may not sell counterfeit goods or any item bearing a brand name, logo, or trademark you are not authorised to use. This includes fakes, replicas, and anything marketed as a “first copy”, “master copy”, “1:1”, “AAA”, “mirror”, or “inspired” version of a branded product (for example, imitation Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Nike, Rolex, Apple, or similar).
Calling an item a “replica” or “copy” does not make it legal. Under the Trade Marks Ordinance 2001 and the Pakistan Penal Code, using a brand’s mark without authorisation is trademark infringement and counterfeiting — a civil and criminal offence — whether or not the buyer knows the item is fake. Importing counterfeit-marked goods is separately prohibited under the Customs Act 1969.
What is allowed: genuine branded products you are authorised to sell, and your own unbranded or own-brand goods that do not carry any third party’s name, logo, or a confusingly similar design.
2. Other Intellectual-Property Violations
Pirated or unlicensed media and software; unauthorised copies of designs, artwork, or photographs; and any product or listing content that infringes another party’s copyright, trademark, patent, or registered design are prohibited. Rights holders can report infringing listings through our Notice & Takedown process.
3. Illegal, Dangerous & Regulated Goods
The following are prohibited or may only be listed with the required licences and regulatory approvals. Where a category is regulated, dapxop may require proof of registration before allowing a listing.
- › Weapons, ammunition, explosives, and their parts or accessories.
- › Drugs, prescription and unregistered medicines, and medical devices (regulated by DRAP).
- › Controlled substances, alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes, and vapes.
- › Unregistered cosmetics and health/nutrition supplements (regulated by DRAP).
- › Food requiring licensing under provincial food authorities or PSQCA.
- › Currency, financial instruments, and cryptocurrency traded as goods.
- › Wildlife, ivory, and products from protected or endangered species.
- › Obscene, immoral, or religiously offensive material (prohibited under PECA 2016 and the Penal Code).
- › Smuggled, non-duty-paid, stolen, or recalled goods.
- › Hazardous materials and chemicals, telecom/SIM products, and other restricted items under applicable law.
4. Prohibited Conduct
Misleading listings, false or deceptive descriptions, fake reviews, price manipulation, attempts to move transactions off-platform to evade buyer protection, and any use of dapxop to facilitate fraud or an illegal transaction are prohibited.
5. How We Enforce This
dapxop uses automated screening, review of listings, and buyer and rights-holder reports to detect violations. We may remove or hide listings, decline or reverse payouts on affected orders, suspend or permanently terminate stores, and report serious or repeated violations to the relevant authorities. Repeat infringers will be removed from the platform.
This list is not exhaustive. dapxop may remove any listing or store that we reasonably believe is unlawful, unsafe, deceptive, or harmful to buyers or the platform, and may update this policy as laws and risks evolve.
6. Reporting a Violation
Buyers can report a listing directly from its product page. Rights holders should use our Notice & Takedown process. For anything else, email trust@dapxop.com or use our Contact page.
